The Beginning
In the year 2000, God gave his servant, Evangelist Miracle Chris I. Nnawuihe a vision to create a platform that would be aimed at equipping and networking Evangelists for the End-Time Great Harvest and to make a full proof of their ministries. In response to the vision, Miracle founded the Organization of Gospel Evangelists on Campuses (OGEC) while he was in the higher institution and they had their first meeting on June 5th, 2003 at Chapel of Grace, Federal Polytechnic Nekede with fifteen members which included the then Joint Campus Christian Fellowship (JCCF) president, Evang. Felix Agbadizu. OGEC carried out a major Gospel Crusade in June 26-28, 2003 tagged… “Almighty Jesus Crusade” which served as a practical training for the evangelists amidst other several forms of trainings they had.
On Miracle’s return from his one-year Industrial Training (IT), seeing that the group he left behind for his IT was still on fire with the vision, he led them to extend OGEC to Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO). In his final year, his attention on this ministry reduced due to academic work-load and several other commitments, though he had an understanding that OGEC was a foretaste of what is to come.
In 2009, God sent him to go and work with Rev. Prof. Mosy Madugba, the International Head Coordinator of Ministers Prayer Network Int’l (MPN) as a full-time staff and to be mentored in the ministry. In the year 2015, while functioning in the capacity of the Africa Coordinator of the MPN Apostolic Youths, he sensed strongly in his spirit that it was time to reactivate his assignment to the Evangelists but he eventually had a ghastly motor accident on July 1st, 2015 while coming back from a mission trip to Cameroon. A Tanker ran over his car and he had multiple fractures on his both legs and hands. He was in coma for six days but God determined to keep him alive.
While in coma, two men took him away in the spirit to an old dilapidated orthodox church. They told him that where they were at that moment was Alaska in USA. He had not heard of the name “Alaska” till this time. Then they took him to the Altar of the church and told him that a revival took place in Alaska some time ago and while they were searching records, they found his name in the list of those who are to facilitate the end-time anticipated and prophesied revival. The told him that the key to the revival is, “The Revival is Here and Now”.
Sometime in 2016, the Lord put the vision strongly in his heart again and said to him, “Do not think you are the only one that I have given this assignment, so do not take it for granted. On another occasion God said to him – “You are to herald a vision written by Billy Graham”. He discussed the vision with few trusted men and women of God including his mentor, Rev. Prof. Mosy Madugba who asked him to do what God has asked him to do without further delay. But honestly, he feared to pioneering a ministry and had deep concerns as he considered that he was still recovering from the impact of the motor accident. But God responded to him saying, – “It is not by might nor by power, but by my spirit”.
One day in November 2017, he woke up in the morning with a knowing in his spirit that the first All Gospel Evangelists Great Harvest Summit would hold from April 4-6, 2018. He had opened an almost inactive WhatsApp group for the Gospel Evangelists Network International (GENI) in 2016, though the name eventually changed to Gospel Evangelists Global Network in the process of its registration with the Cooperate Affair Commission. In view of the summit, he called for the first meeting at his house on December 14th, 2017 and had seven persons in attendance.
They eventually held that epochal summit on the given date with theme, “The Emergence of the Evangelists”. They had renowned speakers like Rev. Prof. Mosy Madugba, Apostle Christian Nnawuihe, Prof. Innocent Matthew, Evang. Gboyega Shitta(UK), Evang. Storma Egere, Pst. Obinna Uba and others. Rev. Prof. Mosy Madugba officially inaugurated the network on the 6th of April 2018. On that day, they adopted the fifteen points Amsterdam Affirmations on the Biblical Standards for Evangelists by Billy Graham who slept on 21st February, 2018. The Lord asked them to consecrate 6th of every month as a monthly covenant day of rededication to God and their calling and gifting as evangelists with fasting, prayers, and meditation on the Affirmations.
